chandni raat


chandni raat mai taaro ki baraat hai
jhilmila rahe hai taare par mann mai na jaane kya baat hai
kya jaane dil mai kiski aas hai
suhana safar aur mann udaas hai
waadiyo mai sondhi mahek aur cherti hawaye hai
na jaane kaha wo raahe hum chod aaye hai
na jaane kyu taare itna jagmaga rahe hai
hawaye na jaane konsa geet gun guna rahe hai
                                              na jaane kyu gagan itna chamchamaye hai
                                                      kisiko yaad kar mann hi mann muskaye hai
                                                      na jaane kitne dard dil mai chupaye hai
                                                      shama hai suhana aur raat hai haseen
                                                      na jane kyu lagta hia wo hai yaheen kahin
                                                      dhundti hai aankhen usko, par wo nahi kaheen :(
